⭐ Technical Description
Steel wire reinforced polyethylene composite pipe is a new environmentally friendly pipeline system. High-strength steel wires are helically wound around the pipe body to form a mesh-structured reinforcement framework, while the inner and outer layers consist of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). These layers are bonded through a hot-melt adhesive and continuously extruded to form an integrated composite structure.
This design combines the excellent pressure-bearing capability of steel pipes with the hygienic, corrosion-resistant, and flexible characteristics of polyethylene pipes, offering ease of installation, reliable performance, and a long service life.
⭐ Product Performance
• Non-toxic and Safe
Manufactured from hygienic PE materials, making it ideal for environmentally friendly water supply, drainage, and gas distribution applications.
• Excellent Sealing Performance
Electrofusion welding bonds the pipe and fitting materials into a single homogeneous structure, ensuring leak-free joints.
• Strong Resistance to Ground Movement & End Loads
PE’s stress-relaxation properties allow the pipe to absorb strain through deformation, providing strong resistance to end-load forces.
In most cases, no costly concrete thrust blocks are required.
• Wide Corrosion-Resistance Range
Highly resistant to a broad spectrum of corrosive media; does not require concrete pipeline bedding, enabling faster installation.
• Lower Installation Costs
The smooth PE inner wall maintains a low friction coefficient, minimizing head loss.
Hydraulic performance improvements can increase flow capacity by up to 30% compared with traditional pipelines.
• Excellent Flexibility & Seismic Performance
The pipe’s flexibility allows it to withstand seismic activity, vibrations, and uneven ground settlement.
• High Dimensional Stability & Impact Resistance
Suitable for buried installation; resists sudden impact loads caused by soil settlement, ground slip, or vehicle loads.
• Excellent RCP & SCG Resistance
Provides strong protection against rapid crack propagation (RCP) and slow crack growth (SCG), ensuring long-term structural reliability.
