DFPS recently completed the successful application of a DN355 12MPa SRCP wear-resistant pipeline system in a large-scale mining project located in Northwest China.
The total pipeline length exceeded 10 kilometers and was designed for high-pressure slurry transportation under demanding mining conditions. The project environment involved continuous abrasive media transport, complex terrain conditions, and high operational pressure requirements.
Following installation and commissioning, the pipeline system demonstrated stable operation, reliable sealing performance, and excellent wear resistance, receiving positive feedback from the project owner and engineering team.
Mining slurry transportation systems are commonly exposed to:
High-pressure operation
Abrasive solid particles
Long-distance transmission
Ground settlement and terrain variation
Frequent pressure fluctuations
Traditional steel pipelines often face challenges such as internal corrosion, leakage risk, heavy installation workload, and high maintenance costs under these conditions.
To address these engineering challenges, DFPS supplied its Steel Wire Reinforced Composite Pipe (SRCP) solution with a 12MPa pressure rating and optimized wear-resistant structure.
DFPS SRCP (Steel Wire Reinforced Polyethylene Composite Pipe) is a high-performance composite pipeline system developed for high-pressure fluid transmission applications.
The pipe structure integrates:
Inner polyethylene layer
Reinforced steel wire mesh skeleton
Adhesive bonding layer
Outer polyethylene protection layer
This composite design combines the flexibility and corrosion resistance of polyethylene with the strength of steel reinforcement.
The reinforced steel wire structure enables the pipeline system to withstand high internal pressure while maintaining structural stability.
The inner PE layer provides strong resistance against abrasive slurry and particulate media commonly found in mining applications.
Unlike conventional steel pipes, SRCP pipelines are resistant to chemical corrosion and electrochemical degradation.
The integrated electrofusion joint system provides reliable sealing performance and reduces leakage risk in long-distance pipeline projects.
The combination of corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and flexible structure helps lower long-term maintenance and operational costs.
DFPS SRCP systems are widely used in:
Mining slurry transportation
Tailings transmission
Industrial water supply
Municipal pressure pipelines
Fire protection systems
Underground infrastructure projects
With growing demand for reliable high-pressure composite pipeline systems, DFPS continues to expand SRCP applications in mining, municipal, and industrial sectors worldwide.
